This is old stock from the Jacob Bengel factory. It is an Art Deco necklace in white metal and black and white galalith pieces. I cannot be sure if it was originally made up this way or whether old pieces from the factory have been reassembled. It is quite similar to pieces on pages 144 and 145 of Chr. Weber's book "Art Deco Schmuck" published by Arnoldsche. This is one of two books on the Jacob Bengel factory. It is a great necklace and is in good condition apart from a little discolouration on the white galalith pieces. I usually have some Jacob Bengal pieces as well as some other Art Deco jewellery in my shop at Vintage Modes in Grays Antiques.
